folly's last days

this place at the staircase she stood when she had some stubborn idea
maybe an idea of me leaving home without taking her
or she did something which i may not have liked
who could tell at any given case, it happened quite frequently

here are the last days of folly, when she, more than often,
stood like this on the staircase

her footprints could be seen on this staircase for a long time after
a reminder of ten years walking the stairs up and down four or more times daily

her final days started with stubborn ideas (i thought)
at a moment she would walk any more, but she was exhausted
